3rd Grade MathMath is a very important part of our day. I am very passionate about teaching math because it is a skill that we use in our everyday lives. I always relate math to things that the students are familiar with so that they gain a better understanding of each mathematical concept and its importance. I frequently have the students play math games to reinforce concepts that were taught during instruction. These games and hands-on activities keep the students engaged in the learning process. The math program that is used in class is called GoMath. It is a math program that balances skill instruction with instruction that develops conceptual understanding through problem based interactive and visual learning.
